Eagles Auditorium is justly famous for being Seattle's home of rock music during what we now
consider the 'classic rock' era. But there wasn't just classic rock, there was also jazz from
Charles Lloyd and John Handy, and blues from Albert King, B.B. King and James Cotton, as well as some R&b from
Big Mama Thorton. But mostly it was classic rock, with local, regional, national and British acts performing.
This section collects information about every known show during this era. While shows trickled on a bit longer, the
heyday was really quite short, from March, 1967 to June of 1970 mid 1970.
To date, I've discovered 218 shows.
